**Payment**

 

Payment is made in full at the time of booking.

 

**Cancellation Terms**

 

Notification of the cancellation of a tour is received more than 120 days prior to that tour’s start date, JGB Tours of Scotland refund 90% of the cost.

If notification of the cancellation is received by JGB Tours of Scotland less than 120 days but more than 30 days prior to the commencement of a tour, a refund of 50% of the payment will be issued.

If cancellation occurs 30 days prior to the tour date, no refund will be given.

In the event of a tour being canceled by JGB Tours of Scotland, a full refund will be provided.

 

**Risks and Insurance**

 

We advise that clients have appropriate and adequate insurance to cover death, personal injury, medical expenses, repatriation expenses, loss of or damage to luggage and its contents, and expenses associated with the cancellation or curtailment of a tour.

Clients are responsible for any loss of or damage to baggage or personal possessions or consequential loss.

If a client or a member of the client’s party becomes ill and is unable to undertake or complete the tour the client will be liable for any medical costs incurred, and JGB Tours of Scotland will not be liable to refund any part of the tour cost.

It is the responsibility of each client to ensure that the insurance cover held is both current adequate for their particular needs.

All visitors from overseas should have insurance to cover accidents and injury.

 

**Health and Safety**

 

For your own safety, the group must at all times abide by the directions of the JGB Tours of Scotland Guide.

The Guide must be notified in advance of any clients suffering from medical or taking medication that may interfere with their mobility and/or ability to fully participate in the agreed tour.

JGB Tours of Scotland does not have wheelchair or disabled access and assumes passengers to be physically fit and capable of entering and leaving the vehicle unaided.

Clients whose fitness level, mobility, or medical condition has not been previously disclosed and is considered by the Guide to be inappropriate for certain activities may be asked make alternative arrangements.

In such cases, compensation will not be offered the Company.

Clients should be aware that weather conditions in Scotland can be severe and must be properly equipped. It is the responsibility of the client to ensure they have suitable, waterproof clothing, and other personal items when participating in outdoor activities.

JGB Tours of Scotland reserves the right to terminate tour if, in the reasonable opinion of the Guide, the behaviour of a client or client group is or is likely to be disruptive, dangerous, or upsetting to others, or if such client or group has caused or is likely to cause damage to property.

JGB Tours of Scotland will not pay any refund or cover costs incurred by a client in the event that a tour is terminated due to unacceptable behaviour.

JGB Tours of Scotland does not provide travel chairs for minors and therefore has a policy of not accepting any tour members under the age of 12 years old who sit comfortably in the vehicle seat with a seatbelt safely fitted.

All tour guests must always wear seatbelts while traveling between destinations.

 

**Complaints Procedure**

 

In the unlikely event that clients feel dissatisfied with the service or content of a tour, JGB Tours of Scotland requests that clients promptly bring any complaint to the attention of the Guide to allow them to address the issue during the tour itself.

Clients wishing to lodge a complaint after the trip or tour should write to the company within 28 days of the end of the tour, providing full details of the nature of the complaint

The Company will endeavor to resolve such complaints amicably and as expeditiously as possible

 

**Tour Policy**

 

We provide a private guided tour service that is exclusive to the individuals in the group making the initial booking.

We will not add additional parties to your group.

Our tours are bespoke and designed for a single group.

 

**Entry Fees and Overnight Accommodation**

 

It is the responsibility of the customer to pre-book, where possible, any entry fees for attractions and overnight hotel bookings.

Assistance will be provided regarding times and locations.

Where an overnight stay is required, customer must pay any overnight accommodation fees for the tour guide, although this can be at separate, lower-priced from the touring party.

Storage is available on the tour vehicle should clients wish to take luggage on the trip, no prior notice is required for this facility.
