Set in the foothills of the Cairngorm Mountains, Fettercairn has been producing whisky since 1824 and offers visitors the chance to discover its history, whisky-making process and distinctive Highland character, with experiences concluding with a guided tasting.
Your day doesn't have to be just about the distillery.

If you book your Fettercairn Distillery experience for the early afternoon, we can arrange the rest of your day around it.
For example, we could start with a visit to Dunnottar Castle and Stonehaven, giving you time to explore one of Scotland's most spectacular coastal locations before continuing inland to Fettercairn for your distillery experience.
Alternatively, if there are other places you'd like to visit along the way, just let us know. We'll work with your plans and help you make the most of your day.
You choose the distillery experience
Fettercairn offers a range of visitor experiences, so you book your chosen distillery experience directly with Fettercairn.
Once you have your booking confirmed, simply send us the date, time and details of your distillery booking.
We'll then work out the rest of the day's itinerary around your chosen time, taking into account where you'd like to start, how long you'd like to spend at each stop and when you need to be at Fettercairn.
Fettercairn currently welcomes visitors Wednesday to Saturday, with the visitor centre and distillery tours open from 10:00 until 16:30. Advance booking is recommended.
