We suggest booking your Ardmore Distillery experience for the early afternoon, giving us time to leave Aberdeen in the morning and make our way through some of the beautiful countryside of Aberdeenshire.
Start your day at Craigievar Castle
Our suggested itinerary begins with a visit to Craigievar Castle, one of Scotland's most instantly recognisable castles.
Take your time exploring this remarkable pink castle and its surroundings before we continue towards Ardmore Distillery.
It's a relaxed way to begin the day, with plenty of time to enjoy the scenery rather than rushing from one place to the next.
Then it's time for Ardmore
After Craigievar, we'll continue to Ardmore Distillery for your chosen distillery experience.
You book your Ardmore Distillery experience directly with the distillery in advance.
Once you've made your booking, simply send us the date, time and details of your experience. We'll then work out the rest of your day around it, allowing enough time for Craigievar Castle and your journey to Ardmore.
Finish the day with a dram at The Foghouse
After your distillery visit, we'll head back towards Aberdeen, with the option of stopping at The Foghouse in Inverurie.
It's a chance to relax, enjoy another dram if you wish, and reflect on the day's adventures before we continue your journey home.
Of course, you're not tied to this itinerary. If there are other places you'd like to see along the way, tell us what you have in mind and we'll see how we can build them into your day.

Your private vehicle and driver are yours for the day, giving you the freedom to enjoy the experience without worrying about driving, parking or keeping to a fixed group itinerary.

Aberdeen → Craigievar Castle → Ardmore Distillery → The Foghouse, Inverurie → Aberdeen
The itinerary can be adapted around your plans, but please book your distillery experience in advance and send us the confirmed time so we can plan the rest of your day for you.
Please note: the price of your Ardmore Distillery experience, castle admission and any food or drinks are not included in the price of your private day trip. Distillery experiences must be booked directly with Ardmore Distillery in advance.
